Daniel Vargö, LL.M, Advokat, Chairman of the Board, partner
Daniel Vargö received his master of laws degree in 1996 at Uppsala University, where he also lectured in private law between 1996 and 2000. Thereafter, he joined the Swedish law firm Advokatfirman Cederquist KB, where he was responsible for the Corporate & Commercial Department and member of the Dispute Resolution Department. He was promoted to partner in 2007. He is currently active as a partner at the law firm Nord & Co, and remains focused on commercial matters and dispute resolution. In addition to his law firm occupation, Daniel Vargö has been lecturing on IT-law at Stockholm University since 2000, and is regularily appointed as an arbitrator in commercial disputes.

Jacob Weitman, M. Sc., Managing Director, founder
Jacob Weitman received the M.Sc. degree in physics from the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, in 1965. From 1965 to 1972 he led a research group in nuclear reactor physics at the Swedish Nuclear Research Establishment at Studsvik. During this period, he authored articles and reports on nuclear resonance integrals and related reactor physics topics and developed an interest in information technology, information retrieval and documentation. He also headed a department for the transformation of Studsvik into a contract reasearch establishment. From 1972 to 1975 he was vice president of the science based company Scanditronix, producing accelerators for cancer therapy and other high tech products. In 1976, in the wake of the first oil crisis, he founded Radscan AB, later renamed Radscan Intervex AB, a leading supplier of heavy industrial energy conservation and pollution control equipment and was the CEO and president of the company until 1999. In 2001, he founded Inmodo, of which he is now the CEO.

Jan-Olof Eklundh, Ph.D., Professor, Board Director, partner
Jan-Olof Eklundh received his Ph.D. degree in computer science in 1980 and is since 1986 professor of computer science at the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm. He was dean, School of EEIT, KTH, Stockholm during 1994-1999 and is a member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Science and foreign member of the Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and Letters. In 1996, he became Docteur Honoris Causa, Universite Blaise Pascal, Clermont-Ferrand, France. He is editorial board member of a number of international journals of mathematical imaging and computer vision and member of evaluation committees for Copenhagen University, Danish IT University, INRIA France, CNRS France, Chalmers Technical University Sweden, The Ollendorff Foundation, The Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research, National Science Foundation USA and the European Commission. Jan-Olof Eklundh has chaired and been a co-organizer of several international conferences of computer vision, has supervised and been main scientific advisor of some 30 PhD:s, several of whom are now professors and of some 15 post-docs. He is a founding member of the European Vision Society, Founder of the Computational Vision and Active Perception Laboratory at KTH and the co-initiator of the national research program VISIT of the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research.

Robert Forchheimer, Ph.D, Professor, Board Director, partner
Robert Forchheimer received the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm (RIT) in 1972 and the Ph.D. degree from Linköping University in 1979. During the academic year 1979 to 1980 he was a visiting research scientist at University of Southern California, where he continued his work in the image coding field. He was also involved in computer architectures for image processing and contributed to the field of optical computing. Returning back to Sweden he spent half a year at RIT in Stockholm after which he took up his current research position at Linköping University. Robert Forchheimer’s research areas have involved data security, packet radio transmission, integrated circuits for image processing and image coding. He has authored and coauthored papers in all of these areas and also holds several patents. He is a founder of IVP Integrated Vision Products, a company now part of Sick AG in Germany and cofounder of Sectra AB and of several other companies within the university science park and chairman of LinkTech. Robert Forchheimer is also in charge of the Image Coding Group at Linköping University, where his main work concerns algorithms and systems for image and video communication.

Richard Wilhelm Lettström, M. Sc., Board Director, partner
Richard Lettström received the M.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering from the Technical University of Lund in 1975. He thereafter studied general and intellectual property law and became European Patent Attorney in 1980. During the years 1975 – 1995 he acted as a patent attorney in Sweden and at the European Patent Office in Munich and held a number of managerial positions at patent agencies. From 1995 until 2004 he was CEO and partner of Albihns AB in Sweden and is currently directing his own private patent agency.
